Helping Families Find the Right Place for the Next Chapter of Life I’m Jeffrey Hines, founder of Honor Guard Company. My mission is simple: to help seniors and their families find the right assisted living environment with honesty, compassion, and integrity. As a licensed insurance and real estate professional and former Medicare agent, I have spent years helping seniors understand their healthcare coverage, financial considerations, and the decisions that become increasingly important as we grow older. My real estate experience—including buying, selling, and renovating properties—has also taught me how to evaluate location, quality, and value. I bring another perspective that is perhaps even more important: I am a senior myself. I understand that aging is a journey we all share, and I believe the best way to help someone navigate that journey is to listen first, understand their individual circumstances, and then help them identify options that truly fit their needs. The name Honor Guard has deep personal meaning to me. My father was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. Standing there as the military band played, the ceremonial detail performed its duties, and my father's casket was carried with dignity profoundly affected me. It reminded me that our reputation and our name are among the most important things we leave behind. That experience shaped the values of Honor Guard Company: honesty, dignity, responsibility, and service. When families trust me with the care and future of someone they love, I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is not simply to find a facility—it is to help find the right place for the next chapter of life.
